==LiveDC Introducing Notifications 10/31/2013==
There’s a new section in the left-side navigation called Notifications.  It works by users (Admin or Owner) defining rules, which currently have three types of triggers, defined below. The rules will create events, which can send out emails at the start of the event, repeat them on a timed basis, and send a final one once the event is cleared.<br />

  <li>'''Collector Not Responding''' – when a collector stops communicating for a specified amount of time.</li>
  <li>'''Data Series Timing Warning''' – when a data series hasn’t had a new data point in the warning period defined by its timing template.</li>
  <li>'''Data Series Number Threshold''' – when a number data series has had values that breach a given simple threshold, a number of consecutive times.  For instance, the trigger could be “when the last 3 data points are all >= 90”.</li>
